Having supported clients for over 15 years as a Counsellor and Psychotherapist, I provide compassionate, professional therapy for adults, children (6+), and young people. In addition, I offer supervision for trainee and practicing Counsellors. My career includes leading counselling services at Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice, delivering mental health and bereavement workshops, and supporting schools, healthcare organisations, and workplaces. Confronting challenging experiences can be difficult, but with the support and guidance that counselling provides, the rewards can be great. Mental health support through therapy can help you overcome barriers, improve your emotional well-being and build resilience. Counselling offers many benefits, often enabling people to achieve personal growth and fulfilment that once alluded them.

As a qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist, my purpose is to support you on your voyage of emotional healing, personal development, and mental health recovery. Together, we will work towards helping you feel restored, empowered, and resilient.

Most of us at some time in our lives will encounter difficult and challenging experiences: a change in relationship, job situation, family circumstances, relationship issues, or death of a loved one. Sometimes it is a gnawing sense of discontentment or incompleteness within ourselves yet not knowing why. We can find ourselves at a crossroads of self-doubt with an inability to find direction.

Feelings such as confusion, depression, low self-esteem and isolation can manifest as anger and irritation, lacking motivation, struggling to find purpose and meaning in life, with a sense of no one understanding.

Counselling and psychotherapy offers you the opportunity to speak openly and honestly in a safe and confidential space, sharing those thoughts and feelings you may otherwise keep bottled up without fear of being judged, criticised or dismissed.

Please call me for an informal conversation or click here to email me, if you would like to know more about counselling and if and how it may help you.
